The print shop is open

I teased this a bit, mainly on my Instagram page, but now the day has come and my own print shop is open. Why prints? For me, there are a number of ways to experience photography and get inspired.

Of course, social media is one of them. It's not the best, but it's certainly useful and has the benefit that you can be in touch with fellow photographers from all around the World. And honestly, it is so great to see so many talented artists' pictures, I really love it.

The other way, which is one of my personal favourites is buying photography books. A great book is invaluable. An almost infinite source of inspiration. Probably because everyone tries to pack their best work into a book, and it shows. It's not a cheap hobby to buy books, but I think it is one of the best investments if you want to enjoy photography.

The third way is to buy prints. If you love a picture, it is worth having in print. You encounter the photograph daily on your wall; it evokes emotion, makes you remember a beautiful moment or a great period of your life, or makes you appreciate the moment. A print can do these and so much more. This is why I decided to open my print shop.

For a start, you can find every picture in 3 different sizes, printed on archival-quality art papers. For most of the pictures, I chose the Canson Baryta paper, which is a bright white paper with light gloss, and it is stunningly great with my style of high-contrast pictures. Every print has a 10mm white border on each side for easier framing.

Obviously, this is a huge step for me; now, I'm in the process of proofing more pictures for the shop. I hope you'll like it.
